Child & Adolescent Assessment
I attended Cornell University for my undergraduate degree and received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. I completed my predoctoral internship at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, as well as a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Upon completing training, I joined the faculty at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. During my time as Director of Psychological Testing Services, I completed or supervised hundreds of psychological evaluations of children and adolescents in the greater Baltimore area, and provided training to numerous psychologists currently working in children's hospitals and private practices throughout the country. Throughout this time, I gained substantial experience collaborating with public and private schools towards the development of Individualized Education Plans, Section 504 plans and other educational plans that are appropriate for the unique needs of my clients. I also made significant contributions to the development and expansion of both the psychological testing clinic and the psychology training program at MWPH. I have also provided supervision in assessment to graduate students training at the Loyola Clinical Centers in Baltimore, MD.
My areas of expertise include learning disorders, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and other issues that impact academic performance. I am a licensed psychologist in the State of Maryland, and I maintain affiliations with the American Psychological Association and the Maryland Psychological Association. In addition, I am a registrant on the National Register of Health Service Providers.
Thank you for your interest in our practice! Our goal is to provide high-quality clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families. We both have strong backgrounds in consultation and therapy, but have found that our true passion lies in psychological assessment. We believe that a thorough evaluation can be the key to understanding and helping children who are struggling at home or in school. We put a great deal of time and effort into working with each client and family that we see, and we appreciate and value communication with our clients’ educators and other care providers.

I attended Williams College for my undergraduate degree and received my doctorate from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where I ate plenty of chocolate. I completed three years of postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, one in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, and two years in the Department of Mental Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
During my training, I completed hundreds of psychological and psychoeducational evaluations of children ages 2-21, and developed expertise in the development and diagnosis of attentional, learning and behavioral problems in children, adolescents and young adults. Because the majority of my clinical training has been in school settings, I have extensive experience collaborating with IEP teams, teachers, administrators and parents to improve academic performance and help youth feel successful.
My areas of expertise include specific learning disorders, executive functioning problems, ADHD and the impact of mood and behavior problems on academic performance and family functioning. I believe in the power of high-quality psychological assessment to identify children’s needs, capitalize on their strengths and help adults better understand each child’s unique set of abilities.
